The main objective of the working paper series of EDII is to help faculty members/researchers share their research/study/project findings with colleagues, as well as test and receive feedback from them at pre-publication stage.

Dr. Amit Kumar Dwivedi has over 13 years of teaching and research experience. He has earned the doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Industrial Finance from Faculty of Commerce, University of Lucknow in year 2007. His doctoral dissertation is on ‘understanding various entrepreneurial finance issues in Handmade Paper Industry (an export oriented indigenous industry)’. Earlier he has worked at Amity University and Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A); and currently Dr. Dwivedi is working at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India-Ahmedabad (EDII-Ahmedabad) as Faculty. In a career of about 13 years, he could contribute a text-book, some reference books and edited book volumes. Dr. Dwivedi has published his research in various leading journals (Int. Entrepreneurship and Management Journal–IEMJ, Int. Journal of Operational Research–IJOR, Int. Journal of Procurement Management–IJPM, Int. Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business–IJESB, Int. Journal of Business, Innovation and Research–IJBIR, Int. Journal of Business Continuity and Risk Management–IJBCRM, Journal of Global Entrepreneurship Research–JGER etc.); book chapters in edited books volumes and conference proceedings. At EDII, he teaches courses in Doctoral Programme and Post-Graduate Programmes. Dr Dwivedi is the part of the India Team that leads prestigious ‘Global Entrepreneurship Monitor’ research study. He is associated with this study as a National Team Member. During (2014-19), he co-authored four GEM India Reports, published during 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18. Dr. Dwivedi is the Chief-Editor of ‘Journal of Rural and Industrial Development (UGC Listed)’. Also, he is associated with various journals (published by Elsevier, Springer, Emerald, Sage, Inderscience, Taylor & Francis and Publishing India) in different experiences. He has been involved in making of ‘AICTE Start-up Policy-2016’ on the behalf of the Committee and the EDII. Also, Dr. Dwivedi contributed two chapters in ‘Recommendations to National MSME Policy-2017’ on the behalf of EDII and One Man Committee set-up by Ministry of MSME. In the year 2015, Dr. Dwivedi received an award from Honorable Governor of Uttar-Pradesh for his contributions in the field of entrepreneurship development.
