Name of the Post: Project Officer

 

Location: Mundra (Gujrat )

 

 Qualification & Experience:

  • Any degree or graduation with 1 year of work experience in micro enterprise/ Entrepreneurship Development/ self-employment related schemes and projects. Freshers in similar sector may also apply.
  • Capacity to work with SHG Groups and undertake mobilization activities of SHG members in the specified location for training
  • The candidate should possess good documentation and reporting skills, good understanding of MS Word and Excel, data analysis ability and good communication ability.
  • Preference shall be given to candidates having experience in Livelihood development sector of Handicraft, food and agro, Fish waste and fish value
  • Fluency in Gujrati and Hindi is mandatory.

 

Job Description

  • Develop the formats for daily, weekly and monthly reports for submission
  • Responsible for uploading online information for project management
  • Conducting Baseline survey of existing enterprises at regular intervals from the field and updating accordingly.
  • Coordinating with Project Manager & Project Coordinators for implementation of the project
  • Provide support to Project Coordinators in field for Programme Organization and training support
  • Generate reports as and when required
  • Ensuring availability of updated data for monitoring and evaluation
  • Responsible for documentation, filing and all official correspondence related to the project
  • Participate in all meetings held for review of the progress
  • Any other work/activity as assigned by the Office

Type of Employment: On Contractual basis.

 

Salary: up to 18,000 (consolidated)

Name of the Post: Project Manager

 

Location: Mundra, Gujarat

 

Qualification & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Rural Management/social work/ Economics/MBA and interest in working with rural women and SHG community
  • Must have more than 5 years of experience in Micro enterprise/ Entrepreneurship Development/ Self Employment/ Livelihood/ Women’s related schemes and projects. 
  • The candidate should have good linkage with state Govt. Dept’s as State Rural Livelihood Mission, knowledge on their structure, Youth Empowerment and other related Dept’s concerning to livelihood.
  • The candidate should have experience in handling training for women, formulating Project reports, knowledge of support schemes of Govt. for women led enterprises, and facilitating Market linkages for micro enterprises.
  • The candidate should possess good documentation and reporting skills, high degree of computer literacy, data analysis ability and good communication ability with fluency in English and Gujrati.
  • Knowledge and conversational ability of Gujrati language is a must

 

Job Description

  • Coordinate with Project Director and Project Coordinator(s) for implementation of the project.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of mobilization, implementing training, bank linkages, market linkages, credit facilitation, funding schemes, Govt. subsidiary schemes and registration procedures.
  • Post Skill-based Entrepreneurship training follow up and handholding, motivating, capacity building of the entrepreneurs to set up sustainable enterprises.
  • Preparation of training manuals and SOP’s as per training program needs
  • Conducting research to identify business opportunities and potential markets.
  • Ability to manage multiple enterprises concurrently and meet deadlines as per the project plan.
  • Understanding the right ideas and best practices and technological solutions for business
  • Facilitate Business Plan Formulation, funding and infra set-up for enterprises
  • Should have strong executive presence and excellent convincing skills ability to hold own point of view in tough conversations.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, training & delegate responsibilities to entrepreneurs enabling their economic growth & development.
  • Continuously look for better, efficient & cost effective solutions to improve productivity, scalability & demand-supply as required.
  • Organize and coordinate fairs and exhibitions for trained entrepreneurs
  • Travelling to field is required
  • Timely reporting to Project Director on all activities and developments of the Project.

EDII is functioning as Technical Support Agency (TSA) and implementing the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) sponsored cluster development project in Badarwas, Dist Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh in association with Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission.

 

A Producers Company (PC) has been promoted in this cluster. Suitable candidate is required for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Team Leader to lead this Producers Company. The CEO / Team Leader is expected to efficiently manage the PC, ensure timely completion of the project activities and oversee the business operations of the PC. The selected candidates shall be employee of the Badarwas jacket Producers Company Limited.

 

 

Position: Chief Executive Officer / Team Leader

 

Location: Badarwas, Dist. Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh

Qualification & Experience:

  • Master’s degree/Diploma in Business Management/ Development studies/Rural Management or related specialization with at least 8 – 15 years of experience in cluster development (particularly non-farm / artisanal cluster), institutional building, market development and/ or other areas relevant to this assignment.
  • Work experience in the domain of livelihood. Experience of working with collectives or cluster development projects/ garment industry would be an added advantage.
  • Strong oral and written communication / negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently to achieve performance objectives, deliverables and sales targets.
  • Working knowledge of local Language, excellent documentation and computer skills in MS Office, MIS etc.

 

Job Description

  1. Responsible and accountable to the Board of Directors of PC & Office Bearers of the PC
    • Assist the Board in formulation of goals, strategies, plans and policies.
    • Ensure various legal compliances – Board meetings, book keeping, audit, annual returns etc.
    • Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports as required by the Board and external support agencies.
    • Managing day-to-day affairs of the PC.
    • Discharge such other functions as may be delegated by the Board.
  1. Services to members under the overall guidance of the BoD
    • Identifying opportunities for scaling up business of the PC / welfare of members, studies, business plan development and operationalization of the business plan.
    • Provide different services to the members as per direction of the Board. Such services include marketing of the produce of members, input supply to members, productivity enhancement services etc.
    • Information, training & orientation to members.
    • Resource (financial, technical) mobilization for the PC.
    • Ensure setting up /access to the required infrastructure for production and related activities of the PC.
  1. Organizational systems and compliances
    • Maintain proper books of account; prepare annual accounts and audit thereof; place the audited accounts before the Board and in the annual general meeting of the Members.
    • Recruit other staff, on direction of the Board, monitor their performance.
    • Establish and operationalize different required systems in the PC – Accounting & Book keeping, Monitoring & MIS, Production, Marketing, Governance, HR etc.
    • Dealing with support agencies, contracts / MoU, coordinate with them.
    • Work closely and report to BOD, TSA and the SRLM.
    • Oversee implementation of project activities within set timeline and budgets. Plan and execute production and related activities and ensure profitability of the PC.

 

Type of Employment: 

On a Contract for 11 months, renewable based on performance.

 

Remuneration: Commensurate with merit and experience
