Job Description
- Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials.
- Create these materials by using technology, including computer software programs. Adobe’s Creative Suite—including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and more.
- Meet with clients to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed communications to look like. Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
- Select type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image.
- Produce drafts for review by clients and make revisions based on the feedback received.
- Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect client specifications.
Type of Employment: On Contractual basis for 11 months.
Maximum Remuneration: Rs. 30,000 – 35,000 per month

Position – Mentor/ Mentor (YP)
Location: J & K
Project Background: The Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) is being implemented as a sub-scheme under National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) to promote start-up enterprise in rural areas. Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) is functioning as National Resource Organization (NRO) for the Programme. Under the aegis of Ministry of Rural Development, the Institute is implementing this program across 15 states in association with various State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM).
Qualification & Experience:
- Relevant University qualification in a Management discipline (Business Administration/Rural Development or equivalent) with at least two (02) years of professional working experience.
- Graduate in any stream with at least five (05 years) of professional working experience in the area of microenterprise promotion/working with communities.
- The candidate must have experience in micro enterprise promotion or working with community Institutions. Experience of promoting collectives/producers companies is an added advantage.
- The candidate should possess good documentation and reporting skills, computer literacy and good communication ability.
- Recent pass outs from premier Institutes (IRMA, TISS, EDII, NIRD, XIMB etc with Post Graduate qualifications may also be considered for the position as Young Professionals
Job Description:
Implement the SVEP program in the assigned block, key responsibilities include:
- Assist PIA and SRLM during selection and training of Community Resources Persons – Enterprise Promotion (CRP-EPs)
- Guide and support CRP-EP during the training programme, on-field activities and enterprise promotion.
- Develop and maintain repository of best practices, case studies, videos and photos and process related audio visuals for specific business functions.
- To systematically maintain all the relevant project documents & records.
- Maintain administrative and accounting documents and its timely submission.
- Report regularly on the status of the assigned initiatives to the Head and Project Directors
- Overall responsibility and General administration of the field office.
Type of Employment: On Contractual basis.
The selected candidate may be posted anywhere in the country. Salary/fee will commensurate with qualifications and experience.

EDII invites applications for faculty positions from committed and experienced scholars in the area of Entrepreneurship Education & Research.
Educational Qualifications:
PhD (awarded or pursuing) in Management, Rural Management, Economics, Finance, Agriculture, Social Work, Behavioural Science, Social Sciences/Humanities, Technology, Strategy or any relevant field, from a recognised reputed Institution. First-Class in Post-Graduation is mandatory.
Work experience and other requirements:
The incumbents
- should be an academic leader and top performer with a proven track record.
- should possess 10 years of relevant experience.
- should have the publication in FT-50 Journals and ABDC (Australian Business Deans Council) Journals (preferably A*, A and B category).
- should be able to liaison, formulate, design, and prepare proposals to avail grants/supports.
- should have experience in business development and implementation of large projects (both research and developmental).
Terms of Engagement:
Contractual engagement initially for two years which may be extended further or regularized at the appropriate level (7th CPC) based on performance and requirement.
Location:
Initially at Guwahati but can be transferred to any other Institute’s office.
Remuneration:
Emoluments commensurate with qualification and experience.
