Position: PROJECT COORDINATOR01

 

Location: Assam

 

Qualification & Experience: 

 

  • Master’s Degree (Preferably in Rural Management/Social Work/ Agree Business/Economics/MSW/ MBA)
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience Micro enterprise/ Entrepreneurship Development/ Self Employment/ Livelihood/ Women’s related schemes and projects in developmental sector or similar fields.

 

Job Description:

      • Implementation of various deliverables on Banana Value chain Development:

Implementation of the Project deliverables at project location. Creation of training Schedule and module, implementation of Capacity Building strategy Oversee the Micro skilpreneurship Development Training on Banana value chain: which include banana fiber extraction, handicraft and organic manure and oversee capacity building training programs for entrepreneurs.

      • Provide Business Support Services:

Identify potential business partner and assist in the preparation of business plans.

Facilitate access to loans from banks and other financial institutions. Develop marketing strategies and promotional materials to enhance the visibility of banana fibre products. Support the maintenance of accounts and marketing activities for new enterprises. Provide support post-establishment of enterprises. Monitor, handhold and guide the enterprises created at project sites.

      • Documentation 

Monitoring of the cluster activities, Analysis of data (baseline & end line), preparation of reports and IEC materials etc. 

      • Coordination and Communication: 

Act as a liaison between the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) and various local stakeholders and project beneficiaries. Facilitate partnerships between stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector entities.

 

Type of Employment: On Contractual basis for 11 months.

 

Remuneration: CTC: 35000/- to 45,000/- per month

 

 

Position: CENTRE MANAGER – 01

 

Location: Assam

 

Qualification & Experience:  

    • Diploma in Handicraft/ Handloom preferably in Banana fiber trade
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Banana fiber value chain (handloom/handicraft)
    • Experience in agro- forestry value addition training in community level.

 

Job Description:

    • To Manage the Banana Value Chain Common Facility Centre at the project site.
    • Collaborate with local farmers, producers, and entrepreneurs to promote banana value chain development.
    • Assist in the identification and mobilization of resources, including funding opportunities and grants for the cluster.
    • Support the establishment of sourcing networks for raw materials and inputs
    • Collaborate with artisans and designers to innovate and develop new value-added banana fibre products.
    • Facilitate product testing and quality assurance processes
    • Coordinate participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, and other promotional events.

 

Type of Employment: On Contractual basis for 11 months.

 

Remuneration: CTC: 20000/- to 25,000/- per month

  • Must have 2 years of experience in Institutional building / Micro enterprise/ Entrepreneurship Development/ Self Employment/ Livelihood/ Women’s related schemes and projects. 
  • The candidate should possess good documentation and reporting skills, a high degree of computer literacy, data analysis ability, and good communication skills with fluency in English, Hindi, and Tamil

 

Job Description:

  • Meet opinion leaders, village elders of the community, master craftsman’s, job worker artisans (dyer, warper, winders, tassel makers etc.) and mobilize & sensitize them for project participations
  • Conduct & participate in meetings with existing SHGs (Artisan community), form community-based institutions of remaining members of the community.
  • Mobilize participants for project trainings and workshops.
  • Training preparations and field program planning in terms of logistical and social arrangements.
  • Conduct surveys, data & document collections as per the requirement of the project.
  • Maintenance of pre & post trainings data & documents with the help of MS Office.
  • Coordinate with project team for smooth work flow.

 

Type of Employment: On Contractual Basis

 

Remuneration: Rs 20,000 p.m.
