Centre for Advancing and Launching Enterprises (CrAdLE) is a Technology Business Incubator hosted by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad catalyzed and supported by National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. CrAdLE aims to incubate startups in the areas of Manufacturing, Renewable Energy (clean and green energy), Healthcare and Food/Agribusiness.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

 

Location : Ahmedabad (EDII Campus)

 

Qualification & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree (preferably in engineering)/MBA with background of Science and/or technology
  • Degree / Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) or Patent/IP Agentship.
  • The candidates should possess about 8-10 years’ experience at a Senior Level in the management of technology-based business incubators.
  • The candidates should have about 3-5 years’ experience in IP development & commercialization, technology transfer, business development etc. in a research or academic environment or in a technology transfer / incubator /research park etc.
  • Management experience in industry or in the public sector would be an added advantage.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop strategy and business plan that clearly identifies with CrAdLE’s mission and objectives.
  2. Work closely with the students and faculty at EDII to help them steer technologies towards commercialization, by mentoring them and helping them to set up start-up ventures.
  3. Comply with all regulatory requirements and make strategic decisions
  4. Administer the earnings and expenses related to the operations and expansion of the centre under the directions of Governing Body.
  5. Attract funding through different means like grants, etc.
  6. Build and manage a team in a sustainable and growth-oriented manner in terms of increasing the profile, diversity and competence of incubated start-up ventures.
  7. Build network of funding agencies for the benefit of startups.
  8. Work collaboratively with regional stakeholders including Start-ups, IP firms, MSMEs, Incubators, Industry and Knowledge agencies.
  9. Manage overall operations and resources of the incubator
  10. IP and Technology transfer related activities

 

Type of Employment:  On a Contract for 11 months, renewable based on performance.

 

Remuneration: Rs. Up to Rs.1,25,000/- monthly (all inclusive) 

  

Incubation Manager (IM)

 

Location : Ahmedabad (EDII Campus)

 

Qualification & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree/ MBA with a background in Science and/ or technology.
  • Degree / Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) or Patent/IP Agentship.
  • The candidates should possess about 3-5 years of experience of working with entrepreneurs, start-ups, learning/ tinkering labs, and incubator or incubation consultancy, IP field.
  • Management experience in the industry or in the public sector would be an added advantage.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Promote, identify, and evaluate incubatees for creativity, innovation, acceleration, and investment.
  2. Managing the screening process, follow-up emails, coordinate the due diligence process, coordinate communication and negotiations with start-ups, faculty anchors, etc.
  3. Liaison among various stakeholders.
  4. Design & manage Incubation and Acceleration programs/ workshops.
  5. Provide Govt. schemes related guidance to the startups and other stakeholders
  6. IP and Technology transfer related activities
  7. Work collaboratively with regional stakeholders including Start-ups, IP firms, MSMEs, Incubators, Industry and Knowledge agencies.

 

Type of Employment:  On a Contract for 11 months, renewable based on performance.

EDII is functioning as Technical Support Agency (TSA) and implementing the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) sponsored cluster development project in Badarwas, Dist Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh in association with Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission.

 

A Producers Company (PC) has been promoted in this cluster. Suitable candidate is required for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Team Leader to lead this Producers Company. The CEO / Team Leader is expected to efficiently manage the PC, ensure timely completion of the project activities and oversee the business operations of the PC. Chief Executive Officer / Team Leader – 01

Qualification & Experience:

Job Description

Qualification & Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or ICWA Preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles preferably in producer company sector.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite. Knowledge of ERP system will be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Job Description

  1. Financial Management:

This project is being implemented in six villages of Bhivapuri, Karjat Taluka (Maharashtra). Target group is women. We are working on promoting entrepreneurship among SHG members/women in Bhivpuri Block. Various activities are implementing like entrepreneurship awareness camps, entrepreneurship development programmes, handholding support etc.

  • Candidates with experience in designing training programs and workshops shall be given preference.
