Prof. Dinesh Jain holds a Doctorate (FPM) from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), Masters in Agribusiness Management, and Bachelors in Agricultural Engineering. He has a diverse experience of over 11 years working as a researcher at IIMA and later as a faculty at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India and National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) Pune. He has been visiting faculty to IIM Shillong and IIM Indore. He undertook a large number of important research projects supported by bodies such as ACIAR, FAO-United Nations, IFPRI, ADB, GDN and the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India. His research and publications span various topics including institutional design and behaviour in water management, food & agriculture policy, biotechnology in agriculture, rural banking, agricultural and social entrepreneurship, and the impact of development programmes. Prof Jain has also conducted many Executive Development Programmes (EDPs) workshops and conferences in areas of Rural Finance, Banking, Agricultural Entrepreneurship, and other development areas. He is Doctoral Thesis Advisor to multiple Ph.D Scholars.
