Vikash Kumar, working with a Bangalore based Micro Finance Institution, 'Grameen Koota', where he was placed by EDI through campus placement, has been recently honoured with the 'Outstanding Community Support' award by UN Solution Exchange (a wing of United Nations Agency in India). This is in recognition of his valuable contribution to the Microfinance community of practice.

Vikash won the Award for disseminating Solution Exchange Micro Finance Community's knowledge products and other highlights in the online monthly magazine, "Micro Finance Focus." With a readership of over 3,000 across the globe, the magazine has brought about an awareness on Solution Exchange and has attracted several new members to the Micro Finance Community. Vikash is also an active Contributor to the Solution Exchange Micro Finance Community Updates by way of relevant documents and sector-wide news.

As Vikash puts it,” In my success, the PGDMN has a major role to play; I would rather say it is the success of PGDMN.
