Responsibilities
  • To co-ordinate and manage the project initiatives of EDI Eastern Region. This includes both programme activities and administrative responsibilities.
  • Involve in the management of the project as and when required. Support the State Project Coordinator/ Cluster Development Manager in carrying out all project activities, and also in reporting.
  • To interact and liaison with varied stakeholders as per need of the project, along with the State Project Coordinator.
  • Liaison with different funding bodies, government institutions, prepares periodical project reports.
  • Carry out field activities as and when needed, network with organizations, liaison with government, prepare Bid/RFP/EOI documents and carrying out all project activities.
  • Undertake domestic travel, as per need of the project/ any other task assigned by the organization.

Qualification & Experience
  • Post-Graduation Preferably MBA, MSW or PG in Equivalent course with management and development discipline with minimum 15 years of experience in Development Sector

Responsibilities
  • To assist the youth Project Manager / Cluster Development Manager in carrying out all activities related to timely implementation of the project.
  • To assist in setting up appointment with different officials in pursuance to the terms of the projects.
  • To act as a link between stakeholders at the community level and EDI.
  • To ensure that all mandated activities on the field are executed in a well planned and coordinated manner. Timely support is extended to the activities and the MIS by the Field Coordinator/Assistant Project Coordinator is consistently updated and reflecting all the high and lows of the project.
  • Mobilizing, organizing and other outreach activities as per the requirement of the project in the field, including various stakeholder meetings.
  • To collect data for Management Information System (MIS) in coordination with R&D Officer

The Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) is being implemented as a sub-scheme under National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) to promote start-up enterprises in rural areas. Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad (EDII) has been designated as National Resource Organization (NRO) for the programme. Under the aegis of Ministry of Rural Development, the institute has initiated the programme in 24 blocks in 11 states: Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Punjab in association with respective State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM).
